Thanks to the ChargeBox's battery-buffered technology, savings of up to thousands of dollars a year in demand charges are possible. Demand charges are based on the power drawn from the grid. ChargeBox only draws up to 110kW from the grid and produces 320kW. A traditional direct-to-grid system would pull 320kW from the grid to produce the same.
